<Brief biography>
After graduating from Keio University, he joined Arthur Andersen as a new graduate. After supporting the implementation of management accounting and participating in a global ERP project in Singapore, he worked at Ernst & Young, providing financial advisory services for transactions such as cross-border M&A, LBO, carve-outs and business revitalization, bulk sales and distressed investments, JV formation, valuation of complex asset classes including structured bonds and intangible assets, and fair value audits of funds. After obtaining an MBA (majoring in finance) from Cambridge University in the UK after the Lehman Shock, he worked in the investment banking division of Nomura Securities and Citi, advising financial institutions on M&A and capital raising. After that, in the corporate planning of a major manufacturer, he led the construction of a group financial management system, including infrastructure development (public-private partnership projects/BOT projects) for water treatment and biogas power generation, mainly in Southeast Asia and India, project finance, M&A and PMI (post-acquisition integration) for local companies, as well as KPI management and governance construction, Series B investment in overseas startups, the establishment of group investment and loan regulations, holding company formation, and the introduction of ROIC indicators. After returning to Japan from India during the COVID-19 pandemic, he participated as CFO of a listed e-commerce food delivery company, where he promoted financial management, financial reporting, timely disclosure, the introduction of a group cash management system including for US acquisitions, audit response, capital policy including share buybacks, overseas investor IR, M&A and PMI support, and the establishment of group management regulations.
In the past few years, he has served as CFO and director of fintech and medical service companies, directing their Nasdaq IPOs, and also served as an external CFO for domestic and overseas startups and a financial advisor for listed companies. Based on the knowledge and experience of finance and accounting he has cultivated both domestically and overseas for over 20 years, he is involved in the formulation and execution of a wide range of financial strategies. Currently, Southeast Asia is the main base of his business activities, and he not only provides professional advice to various companies and projects as a financial advisor, but also supports startups and environmental and social projects as an investor. In addition, he is actively engaged in training and education projects and writing on a wide range of economic topics in order to improve the financial literacy of the next generation in Asia. He lives in Bangkok.

For example, we handle many projects such as formulating and executing financial strategies, planning capital policies in line with equity stories, developing management accounting, raising capital domestically and internationally, managing IPOs in Japan and the US, formulating and managing capital budgets, cash flow management, governance and risk management, responding to audits for Japanese and US listed companies, M&A and PMI, disclosure practices for Japanese and US listed companies, communication with capital markets through IR, and support for entering Southeast Asia and India.
